What is real and truth should be more like revelation, the result of an uncalculated process, more like intuition induced. Some apprehensions of the spirit might be culturally driven, but an authentic genuine experience of reality is most universal. No culture needs to prove the beauty of the sun or the moon or the flower; we are hard-wired to this kind of beauty. While the beauty of poetry might not be perceived by an uneducated ear (you have to share a common symbolic ground to communicate that beauty), still the ultimate interpretation should be your personal view through your personal lens, which is in no way like any other.Reality is not the commonness of the experience; reality is one. How we perceive it is always subjective to the one who comes into contact with it. Let’s say I have a branding tool: no brand image ever stamped on skin will be exactly alike between two different skins, not even on the same skin. Reality is like the river where you can never step twice in the same one, because the river is changing with every moment that passes.Neutral experience, while feeling like non-triggering, is always full of hidden biases and assumptions implied in it. What you may call neutral is actually a more or less automatic, non-engaging way of perceiving reality, or ignoring it by not really living again what you may already know. Living “in the moment” is the way we express the always new engaging in the reality flow by sensing that “the river is always new” even though it looks the same. Keeping the sense of awe, not forgetting but actually fully remembering the past and being open to the same but new memories of the present, we keep our perception and sense of our spirit alive; we can call it consciousness, the living eye, the always new eye, what some will call the living soul of the awakened.
