Slam on the brakes!

Idealism always fails because it is always used as an excuse for exclusion.

I don’t have to show what the world should be… we already know what suffering and destruction look like. We already know what social justice and dignity for all look like. We already know what freedom should mean. The only thing left is to put these visions back on the list of objectives, and first, to stop this late moral perversion: calling peace and equality dirty words while treating war and domination as desirable and acceptable.I’m not an idealist. I’m a realist.
We cannot continue this irresponsible, madman dance, drunk on power, fueled by hate and dehumanization, or we will collapse as a whole very soon. I’m a realist: we have no choice but to turn the wheel hard and slam on the brakes before we plunge over the precipice. As a group, nothing is impossible, even the greatest turnarounds, once we stop the denial and finally act together.
