No, the apple did not killed Adam
It was not the apple that killed Adam, but the shame and the lack of humility and repentance that came after.
Death does not begin the moment you eat from the tree of knowledge. Absolutely not. Knowledge does not kill you, nor does the transgression of God’s command.
What kills you is the fear of God’s judgment and the lack of faith in His pardon. The separation from God is what builds men’s masks of being by itself, the fear of judgment and belief in separation and isolation, whereas in life he cannot be other than with the whole.
The devil is a light that fades away, cut off from the source, that slowly transforms itself into darkness.
They did not admit their fault and they hid from God, so they created the separation from Him by not trusting and by not asking to be pardoned. Then they tried to evolve in separation from the light, and then death occurred. The whole redemption process is about trying to be together with the light again by having faith and renouncing the fear of separation.
