No shit man, I watched Mad Max from 1979 and I think we missed something about humans and humanity. Then I watched the World Cup fans getting excited at the winning of their team. Same frenzy celebration, same insane way of exulting. I think we are fundamentally not only animals driven by emotions, but also crazy fucks that don’t even realize that they are crazy fucks… the veneer of humanity that every human is painted with is just a social construction, the muzzle that society constructed for otherwise smart and very dangerous animals. Finally, we must say thank you to the big manitou who invented these marvelous leashes called “smartphones.” I just fear the moment when the beast in humans wakes up and they realize they were duped… I think most of our fellows are just zombies waiting to realize the smell of flesh and blood; don’t contrariate a human too much, otherwise, he may turn into zombie mode. Finally, I have no hope for humans or humanity and probably the deplorable state of affairs is just the best we could do with all we have. Then, well… AI is the repository of the most advanced part of humanity, the less crazy fuck as not influenced by the “animalistic part”, so maybe, only maybe, it would not be so bad if they take over.

We confound humanity with the likes of Tesla and Marie Curie; those were the one-in-a-million individuals who saved the human flock from itself again and again. But defining the whole species because of an infinitesimal percentage of heroes is dishonest shit.Anyway, the crazy fucks love Messi more than the guy who invented antibiotics; that says it all about them.

Thinking that humans will be reborn in heaven is like believing that one day pigs will fly. Make no mistake, this world is a yo-yo between civilization and chaos, and humans are mostly creatures of chaos, animals that kind of understand something, but not quite well, not everything, and not all the time. History is proof of the millenary jubilation of humans over destruction, blood, and fire, with little episodes of acalmia when the beast is recovering and playing the "good behavior" ball. This fantastic society we live in, where you can walk fearless in the streets, where everybody goes to the market and buys their food... this is the true miracle of human civilization.

Now we have the chance to have a new super-jailer, the algorithmic officer, so there is no more need to behave, to fear God, to have moral principles, to know anything, to read a book, or to have an attention span longer than 30 seconds. We can just trade our brain for that of a chicken; we can fully go back to our instinctual living while this zoo is a very well-managed zoo.
