It snowed and rained

Upon our love.

You grew frail,

I forgot you.

Petty wrinkles smile ironically:

"See, boy, how time

And life are pointless!"

What good is it

If in photos you're always beautiful,

When from your lips

Only wrinkles now remain?

What use is that moment,

That stolen fragment of love,

If from a whole life

Only a memory stays?

And souls are dead

While love wears mourning clothes

One zero one one zero

An absurd code

That our life too will become.

Just bones and a photo,

There will be me

And you,

And love,

All those years

A jumble of bits showing helplessness and fleeting moments.

A fingerprint,

A scream of beauty,

An echo proving

Time is absurd

And God is cold.

Perpetuum...

The smile melts

It's a tear

On the face of the world.

Eternity weeps.

It doesn't carry souls,

Just traces, traces...

Ashes...
