It snowed and rained
Upon our love.
You grew frail,
I forgot you.
Petty wrinkles smile ironically:
"See, boy, how time
And life are pointless!"
What good is it
If in photos you're always beautiful,
When from your lips
Only wrinkles now remain?
What use is that moment,
That stolen fragment of love,
If from a whole life
Only a memory stays?
And souls are dead
While love wears mourning clothes
One zero one one zero
An absurd code
That our life too will become.
Just bones and a photo,
There will be me
And you,
And love,
All those years
A jumble of bits showing helplessness and fleeting moments.
A fingerprint,
A scream of beauty,
An echo proving
Time is absurd
And God is cold.
Perpetuum...
The smile melts
It's a tear
On the face of the world.
Eternity weeps.
It doesn't carry souls,
Just traces, traces...
