Angels are dancing tonight among the ruins
On joy as the ultimate act of resistance
A genius in the literal sense was killed by a bully; an entitled, narcissistic, psychopathic, low-grade-education pedophile dumb scumbag. The genius in question was a PhD, a polymath, a writer, and a philosopher. I feel the world lost a man of great value to a low-life gangsta scumbag. It’s doubly saddening.
I’ve seen happy people tonight in the darkest part of the world, a place washed with innocent blood for three years, celebrating a traditional feast. I realized that, above all the pain and sadness, being happy and having the audacity to celebrate is the greatest victory against those who wanted to annihilate a people.
I tell you: as long as one can still be happy and not be defined by pain and sadness, humanity has still won!
Being happy and finding bliss in the simple things in life is the greatest lesson in humanity one can learn. Listen to these poor men and women, tortured collectively for three years now, enduring incalculable loss and hardship; yet they can still smile at the end of the road and enjoy life.
I think of Chernobyl: nature has reclaimed the place. Above all, it has become a sanctuary for wildlife. Life has a way of regenerating itself. Humanity never dies in the pure of heart, only in the hearts of those who no longer know how to celebrate. Their hearts are bleak and full of hate. They might have comfortable houses and not live among ruins or on an empty stomach, yet the ones they kill mercilessly with sadism and great hate remain the happiest.
They have nothing left to lose because they have lost everything. They have earned their place to create heaven on earth, because one does not need much. A person is a blessing to any place if they keep a pure heart.
Angels are dancing tonight among the ruins!
And the world celebrates!
Joy!
